We're Partying for a Cause!
Did you know teachers spend an average of $1200 of their own money on
classroom supplies each year? Together, that’s $4 billion annually! I
know—$4 billion!!! For most, they’re just trying to help kids get the
basics!
That’s why OfficeMax teamed up with Adopt-A-Classroom to create “A Day Made Better“—a
national cause event founded to erase teacher-funded classrooms. Now, we have the chance to help right here in Utah!
Join Us for an A+ Park Play Date This Sunday!
Join us this Sunday, October 4 from 2-4 p.m. at the Centre City Park. This is a beautiful park with a playground and walking trails. We will collect school supplies, take teacher nominations (the winner will be chosen at 3:50pm), play, and chat.
If it rains (forecast says sunny and 66 right now), we meet under the pavillion where we will collect school supplies. Make sure to:
- Bring school supplies to donate to the cause.
- Think about a teacher you'd like to nominate to receive the donations.
- Wear comfy clothes.
- Sweet tooth? Perfect! We'll have cookies and juice!
- Bring your closest gal pals and your kids! We're not exclusive.
- RSVP so I know how many cookies to buy!
